Clifton Norris Linke, 89 of Alger, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Hardin County on January 6, 1935 to the late Clarence and Regina (Borst) Linke. On August 20, 1955, he married Lois E. Hinkle and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2013. He then married Sumalee “Ann” Boonpratham and she survives in Alger.
Clifton is also survived by his daughter, Wanda Gerlach; two grandsons, Ryan Gerlach and Steve (Kaylen) Gerlach; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Austen, and Eli Gerlach and Milee and Lindy Gerlach. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ron Gerlach; five brothers, Claire “Tubby” Linke, Charles “Doc” Linke, Clyde “Tut” Linke, Claude “Pill” Linke, and David “Dick” Linke and four sisters, Vera Baker, Vivian Brown, Carolyn Swavel, and Jan Perkins.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February, 26, 2024 at Grove Cemetery with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Casual attire is requested for the services.
