Obituary for Darrell Duane “DeDe” Blair
Darrell Duane “DeDe” Blair of Lanett, AL and previously of Upper Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2024 at EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley, AL.
He was born on Sept. 2, 1956 in Vanlue to the late Frank W. and Maxine (Strong) Blair. He is survived by a son, Devon Blair, Columbus, sisters Penny Blair, Tiffin, Barb Kidwell, Valrico, FL, Ginny (Ken) May, Sycamore, Cheryl (Brian) Orians, Upper Sandusky and a brother Dan Blair, Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William, Douglas, Ken, Jim, Gerald and Tim, as well as a long time companion, Deb Kitchen. He was married to Jennie Holden Blair, they later divorced.
He had worked for Mohawk Carpet and enjoyed playing the guitar.
