Obituary for Debra Ann Carpenter

Debra Ann Carpenter, age 64 of Kenton, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born February 22, 1961, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Richard and Margaret (Riley) Furlong and they preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory include daughters: April (Daniel) Johnson of Kenton, Anna Strong (significant other, Cory Miller) of Lewistown; brother: Jerry Furlong; grandchildren: Gabriella and Abigail Johnson, Grace and Manny Strong; niece: Holly McCombs of Kenton. She was preceded in death by son: Brandon Carpenter in 1993; daughter: Kristin Carpenter in 1993; sister: Linda Shirk; grandchild: Hayley Strong.

 
Debra was a school bus driver for many years. She liked to crochet, play bingo, read books, and take walks. She liked to take walks with her dog, “Champ,” and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
