Debra Jean Parsell 62
of Kenton
Debra Jean Parsell passed away on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, at her residence. She was born August 14th, 1962, to Carole (Bowman) Parsell and the late Gene Parsell. She was a lover of life even when life didn’t always love her back. She showed that through sheer determination, anything was possible with will, elbow grease, and a cigarette.
Throughout her journey of lifeguarding, working at McDonald’s, being a Beautician, and working her way through many hats and tool belts at International Paper Deb touched many people’s lives. Whether they knew her by Deb, Debbie, or Harley she always had a smile, most notably when she was on the back of a bike.
Deb is survived by her partner, William E. Drennen, daughter, ShiAnn Drennen-Petersen, son, William (Wes) Drennen, mother, Carole Parsell, brother, Robert (Bob) Parsell and his wife, and extended family.
While she was taken too soon her long battle with cancer is now over. There will not be a formal funeral but a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family asks that instead of flowers please plant a memory tree in Deb’s honor, her family will also be accepting donations to help with arrangements. Any inquiries can be sent to debsarrangements@gmail.com and as Deb always said, “Just Breathe”.
Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
