Don Dean Shirk age 76 of Forest, passed away at his residence on January 25, 2024. He was born on March 19, 1947 in Kenton to the late Don L. and Ruth E. (Peart) Shirk.
Dean married Betty L. Roberts on December 18, 1970 and she survives in Forest. He is also survived by his children Donnie (Joellen) Shirk, Upper Sandusky, and Jackie (Steven) Wilson, Forest, and 5 grandchildren.
Dean was a 1966 graduate from Riverdale High School. He retired from Whirlpool in Findlay where he worked for 39 years. Dean was a Michigan Wolverine fan and enjoyed fishing, collecting knives and guns, and spending time with his grandchildren.
A private service will be held for Mr. Shirk. Memorial donations may be made to the Dean Shirk Memorial Fund to assist the family, and can be sent to Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S.
