
A celebration of life for Don. R. Huston Jr. will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family is respecting his wishes and not having a funeral.
With deep sadness, we announce on August 5, 2025, the passing of Don Richard Huston Jr. Don was born on April 3, 1946, in Kenton to the late Don Richard and Helen (Jones) Huston. Don married Sue Haney in 1977, and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are his son, Shawn (Cindy) Huston and daughter, April (Ryan), 5 grandchildren; Alex, Chloe, Blaine, Kolten, Liam, sister, Jeannie (Scott) Lawson and her children and grandchildren of Columbus, Ohio. Don inherited a large family, brother and sister in laws, nephews, nieces, and many close family friends.
He proudly served in the United States Army from 1964 until 1967. Don went on to work and eventually retired from Rockwell in Kenton.
Don was a lifetime member of the Kenton Eagles Lodge 2163. He played many roles, such as president and trustees for more than 20 years.
He loved sports. The Browns, Ohio State, Cavaliers, and the Indians. He also loved his poker games and his pinochle nights with all his card buddies. Don was a very kind man and loved by many. He will be dearly missed.
Memorial donations in Don’s honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
