Born on February 10, 1942, in Floyd County, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Earl Frasure and Doris G. Davis. Earl grew up in West Newton, OH and the surrounding areas with a firm understanding of hard work and staying true to his word.
From an early age, Earl understood how to repair things from cars to machinery and quickly gained the reputation as a talented mechanic in the area. He owned and operated several automotive garages and service stations in the area before beginning his career at the Ford Lima Engine Plant where he was employed as a skilled trades machine repairman.

He was also a 60-year member of the Sager Lodge No. 513, F. & A.M. in Lafayette, OH. His greatest joy was his family and working with his hands as he restored cars and built his cabin in the hills of Black Mountain, NC. He was always known for his helpfulness to others, his tenacity for solving problems, and his quick one liners.
