Funeral services for Edward Clements will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to services at the committal building. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ed passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton. He was born on February 7, 1944, in Hardin County to the late Francis and Della (Schoffner) Clements. He married Frankie Moore, and she preceded him in death.
Surviving is a son, Keith (Tonia) Clements of Carey, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Clements, a great-grandchild, Jordan Lee Bodey, a brother, Ernest Clements, and 3 sisters, Mary McElfresh, Irene Linke, Janet Linke.
Ed worked for Broderick’s in Kenton and then went to work for Kenton City Schools as a custodian for 15 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Kenton Moose.
In his free time, Ed enjoyed camping and gardening. He also enjoyed dancing and would strike up a conversation with anyone.
Ed had a love for older ford tractors. He owned several tractors and enjoyed driving them in local parades and fairs.
Memorial donations in Ed’s honor may be made to the Hardin County Council on Aging.
