Obituary for Eric J. Hanson

Eric J. Hanson age 54 of Forest, died at OSU Medical Center on June 19, 2021. He was born in Belvidere, IL on Mar. 6, 1967 to Fred and Linda (Brakeall) Hanson. His father is deceased and his mother lives in Jamestown, OH. He married Catherine Gillam on Feb. 14, 1993, she survives in Forest.

Surviving is a son Jason (Sarah) Hanson, Eaton, he also raised Michael Arledge, Middle Point, Mathew (Jess Ann) Arledge, Forest, Kyle Arledge, Dayton and Jessica (Bradley) Kaverman, Middle Point, grandchildren Jaxson, Nakoda, Caiden, Natalee, Bella, Alanta, Brooklynn, Naudia,Trevor, siblings Fred (Chris) Hanson, St. Marys, Michelle (Bob) Brandenburge, Dayton, Bill (Mara) Hanson, Jamestown, Bertha (Terry) Shaw, IN, Allen (Melissa) Hanson, Xenia, Mike (Rachel) Duncan, Washington Courthouse and Dale Hanson, IN.

He attended Broklyn Ave. Independent Church of God, Sidney.  Mr. Hanson was employed by Graphic Packing, Kenton.  He enjoyed playing the base guitar, cars, going to church, playing video games and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Clark Shields Funeral Home on Fri. June 25. 2021 from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. with services starting at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Arnold Glen Martin officiating. Interment will be held in Hueston Cemetery.
