Obituary for Gary L. Moore, Sr.

Gary L. Moore, Sr., age 69, of Ada, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 23, 2025.

He was born on November 19,1955 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Carl and Bertha (Cole) Moore.  Gary married Barbara A. Edmond on January 7, 1989 and she preceded him in death on March 5, 2024.

Gary is survived by his four children: Anthony (Cindy) Moore of Gibsonburg, Gary (Susan) Moore, Jr. of Shawnee, Roger Moore of Marion and Christa Moore of Columbus; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers: Dennis Moore and Michael Moore; and sister, Brenda Stapleton.     

Also preceding him in death are four brothers: Frank Caplinger, David Moore, Denver Moore and Daniel Moore; and five sisters: Phyllis Jarvis, Linda Moore, Deborah Horn, Diane Smith and Sarah Moore. 

Gary was a contractor with Maxline Express as a truck driver.  He was a family man and would do anything for anybody.  Gary loved nothing more than being a Papaw. 

It was his wish to be cremated. There will be no services at this time.
