Georgette Rowe
November 5, 1951 – January 6, 2026

Georgette Rowe, age 74, of Alger, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Lima Memorial Health System with her family by her side. 

 She was born on November 5, 1951 in Hardin County, Ohio to Charles and Bobbie Jean (Castle) Conner.  On March 20, 1971 Georgette married Ted Rowe and he survives in Alger. 

Also surviving is her daughter, Amy L. Rowe-Smith of Alger; granddaughter, Chloe Smith; and sister, Robin Morgan of Forest.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Conner; mother and stepfather, Bobbie Jean and Philip Morgan; and brother, Thomas Morgan. 

Georgette retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton where she worked in housekeeping.  She was a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church. She volunteered her time working with the band and drama departments at USV.

Georgette was an honorary grandma to many USV performing arts students who affectionately called her their BandGrand.  

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Alger Assembly of God Church, 7050 State Route 235, Alger, Ohio 45812 with Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating.  Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.  

Friends may call two hours prior to the services on Saturday, January 10th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Alger Assembly of God Church, 7050 State Route 235, Alger, Ohio 45812.              

Memorial contributions may be made to Fresenius Kidney Care-Lima, 750 W. High Street, Suite 100, Lima, Ohio 45801 and/or Alger Assembly of God Church, 7050 State Route 235, Alger, Ohio 45812.
