Helen J. Beamer age 91 of Upper Sandusky, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday July 6, 2023 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1931 in Fostoria, OH. Helen was raised by her father Russell R. and mother Goldie P. (Bogart) Barth. She married Clifford W. Beamer on February 25, 1951 in EUB church in Smithville, OH. Clifford preceded Helen in death on September 9, 2016.
Helen is survived by her children: David (Karen) Beamer, MA, Susan Beamer, Upper Sandusky, Kenneth (Freda) Beamer, Upper Sandusky, Joyce (Larry) Frey, Forest, Kathy Armstrong, Sycamore, Randall (Christine) Beamer, Upper Sandusky, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, half sister Joe Ann Birchfield, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, son in law Del Armstrong, brother Richard Barth, granddaughter-in-law Deb Frey and a great great grandson.
Helen graduated from Upper Sandusky High School class of 1950 and worked at Wyandot Memorial Hospital that same year. She was an STA nurses aid at Fairhaven for 27 years. Helen was a member of Trinity Evangelical Church, she enjoyed being a church greeter and the weekly bible studies. For hobbies she enjoyed camping, completing puzzles, sewing, gardening and flowers. She loved going to the Wyandot County Fair and having lunch once a month with classmates. Spending time with family and friends was important to Helen and she will be forever in their hearts.
Funeral service will be Monday July 10, 2023 at 10:30am in Trinity Evangelical Church with Pastor James Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday July 9, 2023 from 1pm-4pm at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Church or Wyandot Co. Courthouse beautification and flower fund in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
