
Henry L. Hensel age 65 of Marseilles, died at his residence on Sun. Dec. 21, 2025. He was born Jan. 7, 1960 in Kenton to the late Lauren and Ruth Ellen (Miller) Hensel. He Married Kathy Jean Iles on July 14, 1996 and she survives in Marseilles. He is survived by daughters Jennifer Hughes and Julie Hiatt, both of Galion, grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Kaylee, Brandon, Tyler, Dylan, Hannah and Megan, great grandchildren Caden, Matthew, James, Lyla, Grace, Aiyden, Sammy, Xavier, Scarlett, Lincoln, Brexleigh, sisters Laura (Gregory) Leigh, Van Wert and Amy (Thomas) Purcell, Kenton. Henry also had 4 children from a previous marriage.
Mr. Hensel was graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and attended Tri Rivers Vocational School where he studied welding. He was a 10 year veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Custom Glass Solutions after 36 years of employment, and was a volunteer fireman for Marseilles Fire Dept. for 41 years. He also helped write grants for the fire department. Henry attended Marseilles Methodist Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing on Lake Erie, drives through Killdeer, Amish Country and to the lake. He loved family get-togethers. Henry was a casual, funny and heart warming guy.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00PM on Sat. Dec. 27, 2025 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Leigh officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00AM-1:00PM before services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Marseilles Fire Dept., or a memorial bench for Henry at the Harrison Smith Park making checks payable to City of Upper Sandusky (memo Henry Hensel) in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
