Funeral services for Janet Carol Allshouse will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Burial will take place at Byhalia Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the services.
Janet passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2023 at her residence.She was born on February 11,1945 in Kenton to the late Emerson and Lillian (Withrick) Fay. She married Ivan Dick and they later divorced. She then married Mark Allshouse on August 16, 1980 and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2019.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Susie (Tom) Ledley of Ridgeway and Teresa (John) Anderson of Bellefontaine, a son, Philip (Amanda) Dick of Republic, OH, daughter-in-law, Kathy Dick of Belle Center, Grandchildren; Corey Ledley (Kaitlyn), Kirk Ramsey (Tara), Olivia (Nick) Simpson, Shayla Dick, Sean Dick, Alyssa (Jimmy) Brown, Rylie Dick, Danni Dick, Tyler Dick and Aubrey Dick. Step Grandchildren; Kyle McCloud (Courtney) and Taylor Anderson. 9 Great Grandchildren; Jaydon Simpson,Braydon Simpson, Kane and Kooper Ramsey and Kayleigh Brown, Brantley Brown, Amelia Anderson, Wallace McCloud, Kyla Ledley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 4 sisters and son, Ivan Paul Dick.
Janet loved scrapbooking, planting wildflowers, baking and reading. She also enjoyed watching Golden Girls and the Hallmark movies. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Memorial donations may be made to the Ridgemont Public Library or Walnut Grove Methodist Church.
