Janis L. Eippert age 86 of Upper Sandusky, died at her residence on Nov. 3, 2025. She was born June 25, 1939 in Upper Sandusky to the late Byron and Irene (Nutter) Warfel. On Mar. 20, 1960 she married David M. Eippert, and they celebrated 64 years of marriage. David preceded her in death on Apr. 8, 2024. Surviving are her children Laura Graham, Jean (Gary) Parsell, Joseph (Carolyn) Eippert, Sandra (Joseph) Vent, all of Upper Sandusky, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and a sister Ruth Ann Milligan, Upper Sandusky. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter Elizabeth Barnes, a son-in-law Kevin Graham, brothers John Edward Warfel and Richard Warfel.
She graduated in 1957 from Upper Sandusky High School, and then graduated from Columbus Beauty School Academy. Janis was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had been a beautician and owner/operator of Janis’s Beauty Shop, and she was Vice President of Dave’s Ford.
Janis was a member of Order of Eastern Star where she had been an officer. She was a seamstress for The Star Theater. Janis enjoyed sewing, quilting, water color painting, sketching, reading, gardening, canning, and spending time at Lake Erie.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Fri. Nov. 7, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Barry Halter officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10:00AM-12:00PM before time of services on Friday at the church.
