Funeral services for Jeannine “Jean” M. Seiler will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building with David Lusk officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory. 

Jeannine passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 6, 1929, in Kenton to the late Franklin and Ester (Hites) Gillfillan. She married Richard E. Seiler on May 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2005.

Surviving is 4 sons: Richard (Janie) of Mt. Victory, John of Kenton, Thomas (Diana) of Lakeview, Joseph (Lori) of Mt. Victory, 6 grandchildren; Jaime (Roger) Nuzum, Jesse (Jacob) Purcell, Tommy (Katie) Seiler, Tosha Broadstone, Kelsey (Braeden) Eirich, Cody Seiler, 7 great grandchildren; Hunter Nuzum, Presley Purcell, Grayson Purcell, Owen Seiler, Kole Seiler, Jacob Broadstone, Gracie Broadstone, great-great grandson, Jack Broadstone, and 3 step grandchildren; Greg Thomas, Juli (Kyle) Springer, and Brittany Buroker.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Frankie, Herbert “Ted”, Paul, Dale “Jimmie”, an infant sister and a daughter-in-law Lou Ann Seiler.

Jeannine was a 1947 graduate from Mt. Victory High School.

She retired from the Plaza Inn Restaurant in Mt. Victory and had also worked at the Mt. Victory Hardware. Jeannine was very active in the Ridgemont Community Institute. She was a member of Rhinehart United Methodist Church, a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and the National Rural Carriers Auxiliary.

Memorial donations in Jeannine’s honor may be made to the Ridgemont Public Library or The Rhinehart United Methodist Church.
