Obituary for John T. Roby

John T. Roby age 78 of Forest, died at his residence on Oct. 27, 2025. He was born Apr. 5, 1947 to the late Emery and Geneva (Shope) Terry Roby. On Sept. 19, 1965 he married Marsha A. Clark she survives in Forest, along with children Teresa (Frank) Messenger, KY, Marta (Ryan Michael) Roby, Forest and Jonna Jenkins, TX, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, siblings Ed (Tammy) Roby, Ada, Tim (Krista) Roby, Forest and Carol (Ron) Pleasant, Kenton.

Mr. Roby was a 1965 graduate of Kenton High School and attended Blanchard River Church of Christ. He retired from Rockwell, Kenton after 30 years of employment and was vice president of UAW for Rockwell. He then worked at Friends Office Supply for 15 years. He served as a Big Brother member, was an assistant coach for little league baseball. Mr. Roby enjoyed golfing, and his grandchildren.
