A celebration of life for Jon A. Alexander will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Jon Alexander, 67, passed away surrounded by his family on July 28, 2025, at 4:43 P.M. at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1957, in Kenton to the late Jack and Shirley (Barker) Alexander. John married Terri Marino, and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 daughters; Julie (Patrick) and Jessica, 5 grandchildren; Jenna, Blade, Mikayla, Ethan, Grabriel, 2 sisters; Jackie (Mike) Stephens, Jill (Rick) Rohling, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Jack and Shirley (Barker) Alexander, brother, Joey and stepmom, Marilyn.
Jon grew up in Kenton and graduated from Kenton High School in 1975.
He met his wife, Terri of 45 years, while he was in the Army. After the Army he worked as a Correctional Officer for 30 years where he retired from.
Jon loved Michigan football, golf, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Cincinnati Reds. He also grew up bowling and turned it into a family tradition. He was just an all around sports guy.
Memorial donations in Jon’s honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
