
Judith K. Faulkner, age 86, passed away March 5, 2026. She was born in Warren, Ohio on July 31, 1939, the daughter of Paul J. and Sara Cox Keckley.
She is survived by David Faulkner, son Robert (Gabrielle)Faulkner, grandchildren Michaela (Shane Cox) Alexander, James (Cheyenne) Faulkner, Amy Faulkner and Sophia Faulkner, great grandchildren Jayce Alexander, Sabrina Cox, Branson Faulkner, Christy Faulkner, many friends who loved her sweet gentle spirit, and her beloved pets (too numerous to name).
Judy grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from West High School in 1957, Hiram College in 1961 and attended Bowling Green State University and Marion Tech. She was a teacher, organist at First Christian Church in Kenton, where she also directed the choir and bell choir, the Plaza Inn and Kenton Elks #157.
She belonged to Society Singers and Hardin County Players and performed locally. She was a long time Ski Patroller at Mad River Mountain and belonged to several local service organizations.
Judy loved posting on Facebook and her friends will miss her many posts and stories and cat videos.
At Judy’s request, the family will hold a private graveside service at Otterbein Cemetery Tuesday, March 10 at 1:00 PM. There will be no visitation.
Kenton Elks Lodge will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Kenton on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 7:00PM.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kenton Elks Lodge on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM. All are invited to attend and share remembrances.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hardin County Humane Society or the Elks National Foundation.
