Kathryn Louise Coyer, 70 of Kenton, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Urbana, Ohio on May 27, 1953 to the late Fred Thomas and Mary Jane (Cole) Harmon. Kathryn was raised by her stepfather, Chalmers “Pete” Breidenbach after her father passed away.
Kathryn is survived by her son, Brian Coyer and daughter, Danielle (Andrae) Stewart; six grandchildren: Dillion, Katelynn, Leighann, Marcus, Pamela, Theron and many nieces and nephews.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her brothers: George Henry McQuinn and Hobert Thomas Harmon; sisters: Nancy Steele, Shirley Johnson, Norma Jean Donegan and Darlene Harmon.
Kathryn was a 1972 graduate of Kenton High School. She worked in the healthcare industry as a STNA for over 40 years, retiring in 2016 from Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation.
A funeral service for Kathryn will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of service. A burial will follow in Grove Cemetery at the Committal Building. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Kathryn to the family c/o Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home.
