A celebration of life for Linda Mauk will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Linda L. Mauk, affectionately known as “Linda Lou” passed away on October 25, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1960, in Kenton to the late Nan N. McNutt and Thomas R. Mauk.
She leaves behind her loving sister, Lisa (Jim) Tetirick of Zanesfield, Ohio, brother, Roger (Dina) Mauk of Delphos, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda grew up in a small town, happy, wild, carefree and always with good intentions. She didn’t know a stranger.
She drove buses for Ridgemont, Riverdale and Simon Kenton Schools and she loved the kids on her route.
Linda has so many friends whom she loved to go jeep and 4-wheeling with on a nice sunny day. She was an avid sports fan, and every article of clothing was OSU, Browns or the Reds. Her last years she lived at Indian Lake enjoying fishing and tooling around until she was diagnosed with TM or Transverse Myelitis which left her half paralyzed. She was a fighter and team warrior. Linda still continued to have her spark.
I can’t thank the staff at Ayden Healthcare enough for the awesome care she received. She could be a handful, yet their dedication and compassion was spot on.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s honor may be made to Harco Industries or Simon Kenton Schools.
Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
