A funeral service for Louella (Mulholland) Dunson will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Tom Mulholland officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the funeral home.
Louella passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton. She was born on October 23, 1944 in Alger to the late Richard and Mary (Legge) Mulholland. On August 3, 1963 she married Ralph Dunson and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2022.
Surviving are 2 grandchildren; Michael (Allison) Dunson, Megan Dunson, 2 great-grandchildren; Emily Dunson, Hayden Best, and one on the way, 5 sisters; Susie (Willis) Moe, Barbara (Dave) Maley, Maxine (Brian) Hensley, Betty (Randy) Reed, Vickie (Bill) Roszman, 2 brothers; Bill (Carol) Mulholland, Tom (Delores) Mulholland, a sister-in-law; Kathy Mulholland and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Kenny and David Dunson, and 3 brothers; Jerry, Lester, and Larry Mulholland.
Louella retired from Whirlpool in Findlay. She attended the Grant Methodist Church and was a member of the Kenton Moose and Eagles.
In her younger years, Louella loved to go square dancing with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards and cooking.
Memorial donations in Louella’s honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
