Lyle E. Curl, 69 of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Kenton to the late Minor and Wilma (Elwood) Curl on January 19, 1955. Lyle married Sheila Harp in June of 1978 and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2022. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and was a 1973 graduate of Riverdale High School. He is survived by three children; Rhonda (Mark) Smith, Michelle Ratliff both of Kenton and Thomas (Carla) Ratliff of Forest. Lyle is also survived by brothers; Rich (Connie) Curl of Forest and Tom (Bev) Curl of Bellefontaine, sister, Sheila (Graydon) Henderson of Lima and grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael) Caudill-Gamble, T.J. (Christiana) Rafliff, Natasha Rafliff, J.J. (Brianna) Hastings, Troy (Adelle) Hastings and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Curl was preceded in death by his brother, Chip Curl, sisters; Regina Powell, Gayle Curl and grandchildren; Brittany and Chelsea Ratliff and Matthew Ropp. Lyle was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He also loved NASCAR, hunting, wrestling and was a gun collector. He also loved to spend time with his family while camping and having cookouts.
