Martha Jane Ellcessor, age 79 of Jenera, passed away at her residence on June 1, 2023. She was born July 18, 1943 in Hardin County to the late Robert and Martha (Wingate) Goslee. Jane married Larry A. Ellcessor on April 23, 1965, he preceded her in death on Mar. 26, 2016.
Surviving are her daughters Lisa (Wally) Hamilton, Findlay, Jill (Barry) Beavers, Forest, Shay Ellcessor, Mt. Blanchard, grandchildren Nathan Hamilton, Daniel Ellcessor, Andrew Ramirez, Casey (Kalee) Beavers, and Skylar Garza-Ellcessor, great grandchild Maisey Beavers, sisters Joyce Hanson, MN, Judy Hogue, Kenton and special friends Linda Pifer and Marlene Mitsch. She is preceded in death by a daughter Vicki Ramirez, great grandchild Quentin Ellcessor, and brothers Joe Goslee and Jim Goslee.
Jane was a homemaker and worked as a cleaning lady for the Hardin County Council on Aging. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, walking, shopping, and collecting angels. She volunteered at Arlington Nursing Home. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family. She fought a courages battle with pancreatic cancer for almost 2 years. The family would like to thank all the caregivers associated with Bridge Hospice who help in anyway during Jane’s final days.
A funeral service will be held on Thurs. June 8, 2023 at 10:30AM in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Searfoss officiating. Interment will follow in Patterson Cemetery. Visitation is Wed. June 7, 2023 from 4:00-7:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Autism Research Institute, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Bridge Hospice.
