It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Jane (Jones) Scharf, on January 15, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by the love and energy of her children.
Native of St. Marys, Ohio, resident of Kenton, Ohio, Martha married the love of her life George Scharf on April 14, 1951. A mother of five and a devoted caregiver, she served her community as an LPN at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
Talented at many hobbies, Martha’s greatest joys were family time and the beach. Our memories of her strong will, unwavering determination, and love of our family remains forever in our hearts.
Martha is survived by her children: Larry (Beth), Theresa (Tim), Randy, Connie (Roger), Little Tim (Melissa), Cathy (Daughter-in-law), 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and her beloved sister, Joyce.
Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME at 200 East Columbus St., Kenton, OH, with visitation from 10:00-12:00 followed by mass and a burial at St. Marys Cemetery.
