
Myron L. Spencer passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton. He was born on July 31, 1949, in Kenton to the late Harmon and Sarah (Downey) Spencer. On November 4, 1972, he married Sheryl Liles, and she survives in Belle Center.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Tara (Joseph) Oakes of Belle Center, Jesse (Nicholas) Tropeano of Belle Center, a sister, Shelba Gilbert of Kenton, a brother, Duane (Barbara) Spencer of Kenton, 5 grandchildren, Aden, Madison, Lilyana, Spencer, Bianca and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Gilbert.
Myron graduated from Kenton High School in 1967. He went on to get his associates degree and became a draftsman for Kenton Structural for many years.
In his younger years, Myron enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was a member of the Fort McArthur Long Rifles which was a black powder rifle club.
Myron also enjoyed tinkering in his garage and on computers. Most of all, he loved his family and going to watch his children’s sporting events.
Per Myron’s wishes, there will be no services. it was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Myron’s honor may be made to Not By Choice. Online condolences may be expressed at pricefh.net.
