Nola June Woolley
June 18, 1953 – December 31, 2025

Nola June Woolley, age 72, of Dunkirk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1953, in Kenton, Ohio, to Lysle J. Ard and Marian L. (Kraft) Ard, who preceded her in death.

Nola graduated from Kenton High School and devoted 51 years of service to UAP, where she worked in the Material Control Department. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and reliability were well known and deeply respected.

She was united in marriage to William Woolley, and together they shared 25 years of marriage. William survives her at their home in Dunkirk. Nola is survived by her stepchildren: Kim (Bryan Martin) Camper of Forest, Danielle (Travis McBride) Burd of Forest, Jill (Todd) Spurlock of Findlay, and Amy (Matt) Vogel of Forest.

She is also survived by her step-grandchildren: Kristin (Jon) Perkins, Kelsie (Andrew) Snook, Kelly (Joe) Weber, Alexa (PJ) Spayde, Matthew Vogel, Amanda (Jon) Young, Elizabeth Burd, and Ryan Burd; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother Randy Ard; niece Rhonda Coak; and nephew Brian Ard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-grandson Cody Camper, and sisters Louise Bechtol and Lora Magee.

Nola enjoyed an active life. She was a devoted cat lover and loved playing softball, bowling, and golfing. She also enjoyed playing the lottery and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Nola especially loved following the Kenton football team, cheering them on proudly—especially during their run to the state level. She was also a strong supporter of President Donald Trump and held her beliefs with conviction.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clark Shields Funeral Home, to celebrate Nola’s life. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Hueston Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County Humane Society or the Hardin County Humane Society.

Nola will be remembered for her loyalty, strong opinions, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
