Obituary for Patricia A. Wood

Patricia A. Wood, age 72 of Kenton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was born in Kenton, Ohio to Eugene Francis and Elnora Belle (Spearman) Schwartz and they preceded her in death. She married Rick Wood on February 2, 2010, and he survives.

Left to cherish her memory include son: Matthew (Monica Houser) Cannode of Pleasant Lake, IN; daughter: Kellie Wells (sig. other Joe Morgan) of Kenton; sister: Mary Jane Schwartz; grandchildren: David Cannode and Joseph Morgan. She is preceded in death by brothers: Larry Schwartz, Robert Leslie (Brenda) Schwartz, James Dean (Denise, living) Schwartz; sisters: Susan Schwartz, and Elenora (Jim) Ward. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Lilly.

She was a graduate of Kenton High School class of 1972 and was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She was a faithful member of Berea Baptist Church for over 30 years, despite battling illnesses. She collected porcelain dolls, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved putting together any puzzles over 1000 pieces. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
