of Kenton

Funeral services for Patsy Ann (Pemberton) Deardorff will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Walnut Grove Methodist Church with Pastor Vincent Pontius officiating. Friends and family may visit 1 1/2 prior to the services at the Church. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Patsy passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Blanchard Place in Kenton. She was born on May 29, 1937, in Kenton to the late Lawrence and Esther (Botchlett) Pemberton. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Burton Virgil Deardorff on May 13, 1956, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2011.

Also surviving are sons; Steven Douglas and Joseph Lee Deardorff, grandchildren; Derek Andrew Deardorff, Caitlan (Jon) Diebler, Cameron (Abigail) Deardorff, Christian (Makayla) Deardorff, Carah and Patrick Deardorff, 2 great-grandchildren; Jayce Liam Diebler, Ava Grace Diebler, brother, Paul (Marilyn) Pemberton, and many nieces and nephews.

Patsy was a Kenton High School Graduate. While she was in school, she enjoyed cheerleading and was the1955 Homecoming Queen.

She was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church.

Patsy worked as a Secretary for Kenton High School for 13 years and went on to work for Rockwell International for 23 years where she retired in 2000.

She was a member of the KHCB, garden club, and the HC Restorers.

Patsy enjoyed sewing, and gardening but she truly loved to watch her children and grandchildren play all kinds of sports.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patsy’s honor may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
