Pudge Justice, legal name Carrol Junior Justice II but don’t you ever call me Carrol, went out on his own terms on the 4th of July, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.
Pudge was born on 7/29/1962 in Findlay to Judith (Thompson) Justice and Carroll Junior Justice.
On 4/20/2020, Pudge married his soulmate, Shari Lawrence, who survives, along with their 5 children: Ryan Justice of Forest; Kylie Justice of Findlay; Bryce (Kelsey) Rainsburg of Forest; Blake (Brook) Rainsburg of Kenton and Bailey (Adrian) Reyes of Lima.
Pudge was PawPaw with the hat and Poppy Pudge to Connor, Cooper, Luke, Emily, Daisy, Dixie, Daxton, Declan, Liliana, Liam, Mateo, Myla-Mae, Liam, Zariyah and Zayven.
Pudge is also survived by his father, Junior (Linda) Justice, brother, Marty (Linda) Justice, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends he held dear to his heart.
Pudge is now reunited with his daughter Melinda “Mindi” Justice, mother Judy Justice, brother Edgar Justice and his grandparents.
Pudge was a Riverdale alumni and retired from Whirlpool after 40 years. After retirement, you could find Pudge supporting his grandchildren at their games and events. Saturday nights were reserved for friends and poker. You could always hear a story from Pudge about one of his cats, even though he swore he truly hated them, or his dog Jade.
An avid sports fan, Pudge loved cheering on his Buckeyes or Bears on gamedays. Pudge would talk about his coaching days at Riverdale Junior High, boasting how proud he was of all of his athletes. A natural athlete himself, Pudge excelled at all sports he
tried his hand in, playing during school years, intramural leagues, golfing, bowling and coaching.
