At Bob’s request there will be no services held. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his residence in Kenton, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 6, 1950, in Kenton to the late Owen and Gladys (Brewer) Mabry.
He is survived by his children, Bo Mabry of Columbus, Sharon (Tim) McKee of Kenton, grandchildren, Anthony and Jacob McKee of Kenton, a life partner, Nancy Steele, siblings, Dixie Wallace, Sue Saathoff, Marcy Hefner, Kenny and Jimmy Mabry.
Bob is preceded in death by his siblings, Charles, Tommy, Leroy, Larry, Ronnie, Herald, Ernie, Betty and Shirley.
Bob worked for International Car for a short time, then took a job as a welder for Rockwell. He retired from Rockwell after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Kenton Eagles.
Bob will be remembered for his giving nature and the phrase “It Will Be Alright”.
Memorial donations in Bob’s honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society or Universal Home Health and Hospice.
