Ruth Ann Wireman, age 80 of Kenton passed away at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima on Friday, October 25, 2024. She was born in Lima on October 29, 1943 to the late Charles and Marie (Greene) Augsburger. Ruth Ann married Chester “Chet” Wireman on June 2, 1962 and he preceded her in death in 2021. She is survived by a son, Terry (Chris) Wireman of Huntsville, Ohio; daughter, Brenda (Mike) St. Clair of Kenton; five grandchildren: Jason (Janelle) Wireman, Kara (Grant) Ramsey, Stacey Kavanagh, Ashley (Drew) Suman, and Mikie (Anna) St. Clair; and eight great-grandchildren. Three brothers, David, Kenneth and Dennis Augsburger also preceded her in death.
Ruth Ann was a selfless homemaker, always placing her family first. She and Chet enjoyed years of camping and made several friendships along the way. She enjoyed reading, and in her later years, loved the comradery she found at the activities at the Hardin County Council on Aging.
Funeral services will be held at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours (11:00am-1:00pm) prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
