Obituary for Shannon Dale Martin

Shannon Dale Martin, 58, of Kenton, OH., formerly of Taylorsville, passed away on December 5,2025 at his residence. His brother, David, sister, Sherry, and sister in law, Missy, were all present at his time of passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Patricia Martin, all of Taylorsville. 

Shannon enjoyed drawing, reading his Bible, and playing with his Pitbull, Dixie. 

He is survived by his girlfriend, Greta Ames, his 2 children, Ashley Nation (Adam),and Austin Martin, 4 grandchildren, Connor, Chandler, Logan Nation and Millie Martin, his brother, David Turner( Missy), his sister, Sherry Germany(Chuck) and nieces, Kala (James) Anderson, Casey Turner and their children.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Big Spring Cemetery in Bloomfield, KY. Sister Mavis Bennett will officiate. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
