Obituary for ShanTona Verity Ann Marie Morrissey

ShanTona Verity Ann Marie Morrissey, 34 of Kenton, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Kenton on March 20, 1989 to Shannon Triplett and John J. Morrissey. 

ShanTona is survived by her parents: Shannon Miller of Kenton and Johnny Morrissey of Marion; son, Rhylie Armes of Kenton; daughters, Payton and Natally Huffman of Upper Sandusky; grandmother, Norma (Richard-deceased) Gliebe of Kenton; brother, John J. Morrissey III of Kenton; sisters, Arielle Gregory of Marion and Ashley (Jeffrey) Hall of Forest; uncle, Matt (Teresa) Triplett of Kenton; aunts, Toni Nunn of Columbus Grove, Paula Dick of Russells Point and Kelly Tllman of Kenton, and many Triplett, Morrissey, Tillman and Keim cousins.  

ShanTona was a kind and caring mother.  She was a selfie queen with a bubbly personality.  She loved music and liked to sing.  ShanTona had a heart of gold who would give her last dollar to help someone else.  Her mother affectionately referred to her as her “Minnie Mouse” as she loved Disney so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12-4pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Kenton Eagles, 10750 US 68, Kenton.  The family requests casual clothing in bright colors, mismatched outfits or pajama pants as ShanTona would have dressed for the memorial service.
