
Sharlet M. Hill, iconically known as Granny, age 93 of Upper Sandusky, died at her residence on Mon.
June 23, 2025. She was born Dec. 29, 1931 in Forest to the late Charles B. and Mary E. (Lawrence) Rizor.
She married the love of her life, Harold W. Hill on Aug. 18, 1948, he preceded her in death on Feb. 3,
2002.
Mrs. Hill is survived by a son Tommy (Marnie) Hill, Upper Sandusky, daughters, Stacy (Carl) Taylor,
Upper Sandusky and Bonnie Warfel, FL, a daughter-in-law Carol Hill, Upper Sandusky, 13 grandchildren,
19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Robert Hill, and 11 brothers & sisters.
Sharlet was a member of John Stewart Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Stars. She retired from
Worthington Industries in 1997 after 43 years of employment. She enjoyed her computer, watching game
shows, and playing solitaire. Mrs. Hill was an avid OSU, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and
Upper Rams fan. Her children and grandchildren were her everything.
Funeral services will be held at Bringman Clark Funeral Home on Thurs. June 26, 2025 at 7:00PM with
Pastor Betsy Bowen officiating. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00PM Thurs. June 26, 2025 at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ram Booster’s in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home
