
Sharon K. Ropp age 79 of Forest, died at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Mar. 1, 2025. She was born July 8, 1945 in Russells Point to the late Russell and Mary Ellen (Nichols) Wells. Sharon married Charles Ropp in 1971, he preceded her in death in 1995. Surviving are her children Shelly Hoff, Ada, Nancy (Tim) Conover, Forest, Paul Ropp, Forest, Charles (Jessica) Ropp, Forest, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a brother Butch (Barb) Wells, NY, a sister Elba (Allen) Post, Bellefontaine. She is preceded in death by a grandson, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Ropp had been employed by Westinghouse/AO Smith, Upper Sandusky for over 43 years. She was cub scout pack leader and den leader for Pack #164 of Forest for many years, and she volunteered at the Riverdale football game concession stand. She enjoyed traveling with her best friend Pam Thames, especially to Lake Michigan, and she enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
A graveside will be held at 12:00PM on Thurs. Mar. 6, 2025 at Jackson Center Cemetery with Rev. Rex Roth officiating. Visitation will be at Clark Shields Funeral Home on Thursday Mar. 6, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:45AM before time of the graveside service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Clark Shields Funeral Home at 301 S. Patterson St. Forest OH 45843, to assist the family.
