Shirley D. Kneisley age 81 of Forest died Fri. Oct. 13, 2023 at Marion General Hospital, Marion. She was born June 26, 1942 in Kenton to the late Marvin E. & Mabel E. (Mewhorter) Lamb.
She married Carey L. Kneisley on Apr. 1, 1961 and he survives in Forest. Mrs. Kneisley is also survived by 3 daughters Ginger (Rex) Kelley, Wharton, Lori (Rick) Schank, Wharton, Karla (Jim) Slone, Tipp City, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother Doug (Marie) Lamb, Kenton. She was preceded in death by a son Scott Kneisley who died at birth, a grandson Devin Long, 2 brothers Wayne & Bud Lamb, and a sister Janice Linke.
Mrs. Kneisley was a member of the Forest Presbyterian Church where she served as a church deacon. She worked for the Cardinal Grocery store in Forest. Shirley in enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Wed. Oct. 18, 2023 in Hueston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Jackson Public Library in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
