At his request, there will be no services for Steven Wellman. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Steven passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at his residence in Dunkirk. He was born on July 20, 1968, in Findlay to the late James Wellman and Donna (Chase) Wellman who survives in Columbus Grove. On April 11, 2023, he married Elizabeth Haugh, and she survives in Dunkirk.
Also surviving are his 5 children: Kip Wellman, Bailey Olmstead, Caleb Wellman, Brooklyn Trevino, Veda Pahl, a sister, Michelle (Elliott) Krochmalny, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Steven owned and operated his own general contracting business for many years. He was truly passionate about his work and was constantly working. If he wasn’t on the job site, he was at home planning the next job.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Steven’s honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
