Vaughn Ryan Rall, 57, of Kenton passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at 9:19 A.M. at Lima St. Rita’s Mercy Health Medical Center with his family at his bedside. He was born in Kenton on November 14, 1968, to Janice K. (Long) Rall and the late Larry E. Rall. On June 4, 2008, Vaughn and Susan Michele Kramp were married in Granville, Ohio and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving is his mother, Janice Rall of Kenton, brother, Parry Rall of Kenton, sister, Jalene (Neal) Duffman of Kenton, nephews; Tyler Rall of Belle Center, Dillon Rall of Kenton, nieces, Rose Scott of Forest, Grace Manns of Kenton, 6 grand nephews and 1 grandniece, stepdaughter, Heather (Stewart) Zarick of Holgate, Ohio, Stepson, Derick Conley of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and step granddaughter, Leia Zarick of Holgate, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Rall and nephew, Neal R. Duffman III.

Vaughn attended Hardin Central School, Kenton Middle School, and was a 1988 Kenton Senior High School graduate where he participated in the Vocational Agriculture and FFA curriculum. He was proud to have the experience to serve the Kenton Wildcats as a middle school basketball manager, high school basketball and football manager. The highlight was managing basketball during his brother, Parry’s senior year.

Vaughen was a member of the Goshen Boys 4-H Club exhibiting rabbits, registered Ayrshire and Holstein Dairy Cattle at the Hardin County Fair and traveled with his family to exhibit in State and National Breed Shows. While his dad and brother milked, Vaughn did the chores and loved to take care of the baby calves. During his childhood he rode “Shotgun” with his dad and grandparents to farm auctions, eventually progressing to dairy breed sales. Vaughn would follow in his dad’s footsteps and continued to haul livestock and provide transportation for the local Amish community. His mom enjoyed traveling with him delivering stock to the Mt. Hope Auction and he had a sweet tooth keeping a stash of 3 Musketeers Bars and Starburst in the truck console.

He was a collector of t-shirts and hats, especially Kenton Wildcats, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Brown memorabilia. Vaughn enjoyed his birthday week and celebrated at a Cleveland Browns football game with his Kenton Moose buddies.

Due to health issues Vaughen regretfully retired after 30 years of employment from the Bucyrus United Producers Livestock Auction.

He was a member of the Kenton Elks Lodge of 157, Kenton Moose Family Center #428 and Moose Legion, Kenton Eagles #2163, Hardin County Restorers and Collectors Tractor Club and participated at the Kenton Athletic Booster Reverse Raffle.

Vaughn truly enjoyed the camaraderie, the socialization, and meeting new friends especially at the Midway Restaurant.

Graveside services for Vaughn Rall will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Grove Cemetery with Rev. Randall Forester officiating.

The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Victim of end stage renal disease and a dialysis patient, in March 2003, Vaughn was a kidney donor recipient that served him for 18 years, at which time he subsequently received dialysis a second time.

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, his family received notification from the Lifeline of Ohio that coordinated procurement recovery for Vaughn, a cornea donor. SOMETHING GOOD CAN COME FROM A BAD OUTCOME. Vaughn would have been so proud to be a participant.

If you Believe, you will have Faith,

If you have Faith, you will have Peace,

If you have Peace, you will have acceptance.

If you have Acceptance, you will have patience,

If you have Patience, you will have assurance,

If you have Assurance, you will have a Blessed Victory For Life!
