Ohio High Point Career Center and Triad DECA Teams Attended ICDC DECA Recently

The Ohio High Point Career Center and Triad DECA team attended International Career Development Conference DECA recently. The DECA ICDC took place in Anaheim, California on April 27-30, 2024.

The OHP/Triad DECA team demonstrated exceptional skills and strategic thinking, achieving impressive placements in highly competitive events among over 23,000 participants from across the world. 

Tucker Webb, Gage Heitman, and Kane Bailey secured 6th place in the Virtual Business Challenge-Retail among the top 16 teams from nearly 1,400 entries from the US and Canada. Merlin Morales and Spencer Huffman achieved 12th place in the Virtual Business Challenge-Personal Finance out of over 950 teams from three countries.

This is fourth time in five years that the OHP/Triad chapter has placed in the top 10 at the DECA ICDC.
