One Arrested Following B&E in Wyandot County

One person was arrested, and two suspects are being sought in connection to a breaking and entering in the village of Wyandot, which is in Wyandot County.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol was flagged down by three boys riding bikes in the driveway to the old meat plant in the village.

The three said they heard someone inside the plant, and that one male threatened them if they didn’t leave the area.

The officer located one of the suspects, later identified as Billy Collins, and arrested him on charges of breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools.

Collins stated that two other men were inside the plant, but they were not located and still being sought.

The incident remains under investigation.
