Pedestrian Killed on I-75 in Hancock County Christmas Evening

The identity of a pedestrian who was killed after being struck by three vehicles on I-75 in Hancock County this past Christmas evening has been released.

According to a release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol, at around 6:44 Christmas evening, 43 year old William Wells, of Columbus, was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the southbound lanes of 75.

Wells was then struck by two additional cars and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The southbound lanes of 75 were shut down for approximately 4 hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
