Mail delivery to some downtown Kenton businesses is temporarily on hold due to safety concerns.
Businesses impacted are primarily on Main Street in the downtown construction zone.
Kenton Postmaster Ethan Price said a supervisor at the post office decided recently it had become unsafe for the mail delivery person to cross over Main to deliver the mail.
The individual was advised to stop delivering until the conditions improve.
Price noted that conditions there has seen significant improvement, and mail may be delivered again soon.
In the meantime, he said impacted businesses can pick up their mail at the post office.
