Kenton Girls’ Tennis Battled Bluffton

Kenton lost to Bluffton, 2-3. Presley Wilson defeated Ari Bowling at 2nd singles 6-2, 6-2. McKenna Stanforth defeated Claire Blackburn 6-2, 6-3 at third singles. Amanda Van Horn fell to Hannah Nieman at first singles 0-6, 1-6. Kenton’s first doubles team of Katelyn Stevenson and Mia Vermillion lost to Willow Angel and Kate Klinger 0-6, 3-6. Katie Lowe and Diana Nease fell at second doubles to Peighton Bowers and Leah Hoffman 1-6, 1-6. Kenton returns to action on Wednesday, Oct.1 at home versus Elida for a 4:30 pm match.
