Stolen Vehicle Found on Fire in Kenton

A stolen vehicle was located on fire Sunday evening.

According to information, from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the 300 block of Center Street at around 9:30 Sunday night.

The 2012 Hyuandai Elantra was found behind a residence.

It was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and was listed as a total loss.

Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser said that the vehicle was confirmed to have been stolen Sunday evening from the parking area at 995 Meadow Lane in the city.

He said they are developing suspects in the case, and it remains under investigation.
