SWCD Holding Contest for 4-H and FFA Members

The Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a contest for 4-H and FFA members with Junior Fair conservation projects at the Hardin County Fair.

The date for the contest is Tuesday September 5 with registration at 10am and judging at 10:30.

Contest participants will give a 4 to 5 minute oral presentation about their conservation project.

They will be judged on project knowledge, constructing the project, completing the project and knowledge gained.

There will be three age group classes, and approximately $250 in cash awards will be divided to at least the top three participants in each class.
