Three Columbus Residents Arrested for Murder in Auglaize County

Three people were arrested recently in connection with a shooting that occurred on April 11, 2018 south of St. Mary’s that left one man dead and another severely injured.

According to a release from Auglaize County Sheriff Allen Solomon, 31 year old Syniqua Bell, 27 year old Jacar Bitting and 31 year old Keith Waddell, all of Columbus, were arrested with the past two weeks.

They are each facing aggravated murder and numerous other charges in connection to the shooting.

Sheriff Solomon said this has been a long, intense investigation, involving more than one agency, including a few from outside the area. 

He said he appreciated their assistance.
