The 2019 campaign of United Way of Hardin County came up short of its goal, but not because of a lack of effort.

At the Annual Meeting held this morning, it was announced that just over $188,500 was pledged. The goal was $220,000.

Executive Director Darlene Foreman said the 21 partner agencies will be receiving their share of just over $155,000. The first payment should be sent out Friday.

Several industries, including Honda of America and McCullough Industries were recognized this morning for their extra efforts in bringing in pledges.

Randy Rogers and Beryl Rogers-Dudek were recognized for their support through Nationwide Insurance.
