Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Multiple Counties, including Logan and Union

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Darke, Shelby, Logan, Union, Delaware, Miami, Champaign, Clark, Madison, Franklin, and Licking Counties.

This includes the cities of Newark, London, Marysville, Troy, Tipp City, Delaware, Bellefontaine, Piqua, Downtown Columbus, Springfield, Sidney, Greenville, Plain City, Urbana, and West Jefferson.

Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds can also gust as high as 35 mph.

This Advisory is in effect until midnight Monday Night.

Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
