City of Kenton city-wide Spring Cleanup has been scheduled for April 17 to the 20. The hours from 8am until 6:30pm. When taking items, use the east gate at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Some of the items that will be accepted are appliances, scrap metal, car batteries and televisions. Flags Lowered to Half-Staff

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Ohio be flown at half-staff. The order was made in remembrance of the victims of the school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee. Flags upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state will be lowered to half-staff. It is in effect until sunset on Friday March 31.
